Melisa , trilogy

God give me the grace with serenity, to accept the things that can't be changed
The courage, to change what can be changed
And the wisdom to know the distinguish one from another

Yep, this is the prayer that i know from a novel.. gives me a deep impression about that trilogy. Indonesian novel, trilogy called Melisa by S.Mara GD. I have been friend with the author on facebook. Hahaha

This trilogy is about life. All in one, but mostly about family, friendship, and love, of course. About a girl, that find her first love, and must give him up because he must married another girl, well, his mom wants it to do so. Then, about her parent's past, that connect with this girl present, and well, about how this girl locked herself, and find a way to move on, through this prayer.

How this girl, work from the low position and success, be a wiser person, how she is able to live after losing her dad, and how she really find her true love which is always there in the corner of her eye. And about her best friend, her brother's love, how she sacrifice enough, how she is still caring for her first love (the true 'move on' is when she is able to talk normally with the one that had been hurt her in the past). Despite of her cheerfullness, there is a lot of sadness within her, andd despite of her success, there is much much sacrifice and hardwork.

If you want me to tell the story of it, the imaginer video of it still so vivid in my mind. The feeling of her character, i can still feel it. Well, this novel is not so popular like dee's though, but still, i love it and it is a must read, i think. I learn a lot from there, but still, the prayer gives the most significant impression. :)

I learn something from everything but sometimes, it is everything that i learn from something. XD
